Based on a large amount of interest from our regular network session attendees, for the first time we will be holding a facilitated ‘round table’ discussion focussing on the most common issues currently being faced by our members and, more importantly, how they’re being resolved.
One of the main benefits of any network is, of course, shared learning and experiences. We’re therefore really pleased to announce our first ‘Round Table’ discussion to be facilitated by Grant Withrington, a highly-experienced workshop facilitator and SME in the fields of Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Team Building, and other essential leadership skills.
As with any such session, the conversation is intended to be fluid and flexible and all attendees will (time allowing) have the opportunity to table their own questions/discussion points…and, of course, answers to those questions. However, we have already had some requests for discussion topics, which currently include:
- Current trends
- Performance Management systems and processes
- Leadership issues
- Winning L&D budget
- Recommendations for an LMS
If you have a topic that you would like to discuss with a group of L&D industry peers, we would be extremely interested in (and grateful for) hearing from you. Simply email us at AustralianLDN@yahoo.com.au.
Likewise, if you wish to secure a place for yourself and/or any of your L&D/OD colleagues or friends, email us at the same address.
Time: 8:00am – 9:30am
Date: Tuesday, 23 May 2017
Where: Saxons Training Facilities (Brisbane) – Level 11, 300 Adelaide Street, Brisbane
Catering: Tea, coffee and a light breakfast will be provided
Pre & Post-workshop: Networking/socialising will continue after the presentation.
Limited spaces available: Email your details ASAP to AustralianLDN@yahoo.com.au to secure your place.
These are a regular morning session hosted in a workshop style for internal Learning & Development and Organisational Development professionals, or those working in a similar capacity. In addition to the workshop, this is a great opportunity for networking and sharing best practice with other L&D Managers from various businesses and industry sectors…we hope you can make it and join in. Please feel free to forward this invite to anyone else you know in the L&D community.
